"If you bank at the North East Texas Credit Union, you received a newsletter this month in with your statement. In that newsletter was the following story:
A local credit union employee was diagnosed with a rare form of Leukemia last fall. After bone marrow biopsies and CT scans, his report was all clear. Praise GOD!! There were no signs of cancer found.
His family is so thankful and continue to thank GOD for HIS faithfulness and mercy. They wish to extend a special thank you to each of you that have continued to encourage and pray for them during this trying time.
The person who won his battle with cancer was given a prayer quilt made by the ladies of Mims Chapel United Methodist Church. Their quilting club, Prayers and Squares, has made many quilts that have been given in love to those with special needs. As the threads were tied into knots, a special prayer was said for this person. These ladies do these quilts for so many people who are sick. If you would like to donate to them and their work, you can do so at any Credit Union office through an account set up for them there.
WE ARE SO PROUD OF OUR PRAYERS AND SQUARES GROUP, SUCH A WONDERFUL MINISTRY!!!!!
