To All Local UMW Officers

Ladies,
You are invited and encouraged to attend Local Officers Training being held at First United Methodist Church in Jefferson, Texas, on Saturday, Jan. 30, 2010. Registration will begin at 9:30 am. The program will begin at 10:00 am and the training will be completed by 12:oo noon.

Jefferson's United Methodist Women will serve lunch for a cost of $5.00. Please RSVP to Mary Alice Oatman at 903-665-2988 by January 27th with the number of ladies that are planning to eat lunch and if you will need a nursery.

The program book for 2010, the Prayer Calendar for 2010 and the three study boks will be available for purchase at this meeting. The district officers have recently returned from training at Lakeview and are eager to share what they learned. It will also be an opportunity for all of us to share our successes and challenges of the past year. We are looking forward to seeing you all and having this time of learning and fellowship.

First United Methodist Church of Jefferson is located at 305 West Henderson. If you are coming from Longview or Waskom , take Hwy 59 North and turn right on Hwy 49. Turn right on Polk St. (at old Texaco Station) and then right on Henderson and go to third block on right to church.

If you are coming from Texarkana, New Boston, Atlanta: take Hwy 59 South and turn left on Hwy 49. Turn right on Polk Street (at old Texaco Station) and then right on Henderson and go to third block on right to church.

If you are coming from Daingerfield, Pittsburg , Mt. Pleasant: take Hwy 49 to Jefferson. Cross Hwy 59, turn right on Polk Street (at old Texaco Station), and then right on Henderson and go to third block on right to church.
