As the Season of Lent nears it's end, we should stop and take time to reflect on it's true meaning. Take time to repent of our sins and give thanks to GOD for what he has done for us. Take time to remember how CHRIST suffered, just an ordinary man, cursed, betrayed, beaten and then crucified. Think of how he must have suffered. Even though HE was the MESSIAH, he still had feelings and fear in HIS heart, yet HE did HIS Father's will and did it with a forgiving heart.
As HE prayed "Father, forgive them , for they know not what they do." Even though HE was a great man and GOD's SON, he still suffered for you and me.
"My soul is exceeding sorrowful, even unto death: tarry ye here, and watch with me. And he went a little farther, and fell on his face, and prayed, saying "O Father, if it be possible, let this cup pass from me: nevertheless not as I will, but as thou wilt."
