Bro. Richard's sermon today was based on Luke 2:38:
"And she coming in that instant gave thanks likewise unto the LORD, and spake of HIM to all them that looked for redemption in Jerusalem."
Are we expectant of things good to come to us, or do we think the worst? Sometimes we are afraid to hope for fear of disappointment. It is better to be disappointed than to never have expectations. "Without expectation, life would lose it's song". To those who have expectation, a desert can came become a beautiful garden. Expectation is a source of usefulness. We, as Christians, come to church expecting to have a blessing from music, messages, fellowship with our church family and leave with a joyful heart.
Our GOD is a GOD of HOPE. Hope is always in those that know HIM.
