Bro. Richard's sermon today was entitled: "The Man Who Missed Something."

"The young man saith unto HIM, All these things have I kept from my youth up: what lack I yet?" ................Matthew 19:20

JESUS said unto him, "If thou wilt be perfect, go and sell that thou hast, and give to the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven: and come and follow me."

The young rich man whom JESUS was speaking to was "missing something". He thought all his worldly treasures and money would make him happy. They did not. Yet, when asked to give them away, he would not.

Today, we often put money first and this usually leads to disaster. We are to give to those in need and keep GOD first in our lives and everything we need will be added unto us. All we have to do is trust HIM. Take up HIS cross and follow HIM.
It is not an easy thing to do sometimes, but the reward will be unspeakable. We will have treasures stored in Heaven that we can not begin to imagine.
