The North District of United Methodist Women
is in great need of persons who would be willing to serve as district officers. The nominations committee would like to have ladies willing to serve.
These persons will need to plan to attend district meetings, just 3 times a year, with an officers meeting usually within a month of the program.
It would be nice if these persons would attend committee meetings in the springs and in the fall. The training for district officers would be held in January at Lakeview. I know this may sound like a lot but most of these meetings will only take a day of your time, and you will be able to carpool with someone from your area.
We are asking you to be in prayer, asking GOD'S guidance in leading you . Remember that GOD helps us to develop those skills to lead.
Please let a member of the nominations committee know if you or if you know of someone whom you think might be a good leader. We need these for the Executive Committee on August 7, this Saturday.
It would be a shame if we are not able to fill our district offices.
