Bro. Richard's sermon for today: "Are We Adequate for Life's Demands?"
Job 6:15-17:
"My brethren have dealt deceitfully as a brook, and as the stream of brooks, they pass away; Which are blackish by reason of the ice, and where in the snow is hid: What time they wax warm, they vanish: when it is hot, they are consumed out of their place."
Job had lost everything, his wife, his children, his animals and his health. His friends came and stayed with him for 7 days and 7 nights and then they left. It seems they did more harm than good for him.
Today we often pass on by someone who we know is in need of help for one reason or another. Maybe we feel it is their own fault because of their situation, but no matter, as Christians we are still to reach out and offer our help. We must be careful and not become part of the problem, but to be a witness as to what GOD has done in our own lives, for we all have have had problems.
