Bro. Richard's Sermon for today: "Who Is This Man, Job?"

Job 1:1

There was a man in the land of Uz, whose name was Job; and that man was perfect and upright, and one that feared GOD, and avoided evil.

Today we often wonder why bad things happen to good people and evil people seem to be unaffected. So many times things happen that we do not understand, but know that GOD is in control. Job was a man with seven sons and 3 daughters, a loving wife, good family life, much livestock and seemed to have it all. Suddenly, he was tested by GOD. The LORD speaking of Job had told Satan "there is none like him in the earth, a perfect and an upright man, one that feareth GOD and avoids evil."

Even though Job had lost his family, his wealth, livestock, even his health, he was still faithful to GOD. Job was a man of great integrity. We must be like Job and even in difficult times know that GOD is there for us. HE is our vindicator.
