Job 23:3........."Oh that I knew where I might find HIM! that I might come even to HIS seat!
Many people today wonder "how can I find GOD?" GOD is all around us all day, everyday. We have to be willing to "be still and know that HE is GOD" and willing to accept HIM. People seek happiness often through fame or fortune only to find that their lives are still empty and lacking something.
Their can be no real peace and happiness in your life if you don't have GOD. Stop and look around at HIS mighty works and seek HIM, HE is only a prayer away.

History of our Church
The first religious gathering place of the original pioneer families of the community is said to have been at the site of a sunken boulder, next to which the first crude log meeting house was constructed. Because of this boulder, the first structure was know as the "Old Rock Church".
About 1871, a larger one-room frame building replaced the log structure and the name was changed to Mims Chapel, after two brothers who were instrumental in procuring the six-acre tract of land. This white painted, one-room church remained in use until 1936, when a bad list to the structure necessitated its being torn down. The new church was built from the same material, except for necessary additions.
In January 1969, the old wooden building was torn down and replaced by a modern brick structure.
Mims Chapel maintains its strong historical background , while striving ever-forward to help spread God's glory and kingdom. Praise God in the highest! May Mims Chapel forever be the "Old Rock Church".
