Lewis "Bud" Barrett June 19, 1923 -- March 21, 2011 . Here at Mims Chapel we are saddened by the loss of a member of our church family, Mr. Bud Barrett. Memorial services will be held Friday, April 1, 2011 at 2:00 at Mims Chapel United Methodist Church under the direction of Haggard Funeral Home with Rev. Richard Dowden officiating. He is survived by his wife, Olga Barrett of Avinger, Children: Linda Gale Garrison of Alvin Texas and Samuel Lewis Barrett of Ft. Worth,Texas, a sister, Ima Jo Allen of Proper, Texas. Grandchildren: Charles Garrison, Christopher Garrison, Caren Hoffman and Carla Wilson and nine great-grandchildren.
