CHRISTMAS IN AMERICA by Louise Phillips
A star in the sky, carols in the evening air, a candle in the window, a wreath on the door, mistletoe hung high, poinsettias aflame with brilliant color, gifts beneath a lighted tree, friends around the holiday table, far ones reunited in love, church bells ringing....this is Christmas in America! Listen as we tell you what the Christmas symbols mean to us.
Through the great traditions of our faith, we join the shepherds of Bethlehem, the Wise Men from the east, and the seekers throughout the ages, to welcome the ONE who came at Christmas. At Christmas, bringing our gifts to JESUS, with the message of the angels, "Glory to GOD in the highest, and on earth, peace and goodwill to peoples everywhere."
