Mims Chapel UMW met today, May 10, 2011 with President Joan Ramsey presiding. She opened with reading from response magazine "Clearing the Path".
Bro. Richard opened the meeting with prayer.
Business meeting was conducted by Joan Ramsey. She greeted our guests and introduced out guest speaker Diann Haynes from Bethel Temple in Longview. Other guest came from St. Marks.
Diann Haynes spoke as to bring to everyone's attention that GOD is always there no matter who you are or where you are. Everyone enjoyed her presentation.
Following the program the meeting was adjourned and the meal blessed.
A wonderful Taco Salad lunch with all the trimming was prepared by Joyce Barnes. She also did the decorations on the tables in a beautiful spring decor.
